Coding on MoreBlanks / Blanks

New features to come to "More Blanks":

• Better  title screen (fixing some memory leaks ... sorry for that).
• Count of correct and wrong words
• more words

New features to come to both:

• Timer
• and Score Board

The last two will take some more time (I guess).

MoreBlanks and Right / Wrong to come

Next week, More Blanks and Right or Wrong will be published in the AppStore. They are basically advancements of Blanks with some new features taken from your comments in the AppStore and mostly from the emails.

I will charge something for them to get me paying for the development costs etc. and give you more timely updates. 

Yet, Blanks will always stay free and I will slowly move features from "More Blanks" to Blanks. 

It would be great if you support me, in case you like my apps.

Blanks V1.2 published

Next version is out on the Appstore. 

New Features:

• let's you try out as often you like, as long as you get the word wrong.
• has around 500 new words (makes around 1200 words).

• retry for each word until you get it right.

Blanks V1.1 in the Appstore

Ok. There are now more words available (I hope also more difficult once). Unfortunately, due to a bug there only 200 are cycled through ... Damn it. Sorry for that it should be over 1000. Will be fixed in version 1.2. 

I continued the new version, this will allow you also to try out multiple times before submitting the word. I guess I will be able to push it to review sometime over the weekend.

It might take around a week again before it is in the appstore. 

activity recognition on iphone

I started recording accelerometer data etc. on the phone. Sad, sad, the first app I wanted to do, seemingly won't work ... The classes are not that easy to distinguish.  ...hmmm... 

Need to get to audio processing.

Blanks V1.2

Started hacking on a new version ... Should be finished by the end of the week or so.

Unfortunately, 1.1 is not up in the Appstore yet (in review since last week). 

Btw, I found another randomizer bug today :( Therefore, version 1.1 will only cycle through 200 words, although over 1000 are in the app.

For version 1.2:

• Fixing word random bug 
• improving some memory management
• allowing to pick words until the correct one is found.
